Happy Easter Everybody!
We have had a great half term with your children. They have worked so hard and definitely deserve a break. With that said, there is NO HOMEWORK for this holiday! The children have a new colour band book and their Sumdog logins should they wish to do something at home but it is not expected.

Happy Friday Everybody!
We have had a very busy week...
...Science Day was great! We completed lots of fun acitvities, including making our own boats and larva lamps. Then we prepared for Mother's Day and the afternoon tea, as well as completing our own Mother's Day cards. We hope you like them! Next Friday the children can wear red for Comic Relief and/or odd socks for World Down Syndrome Day.
**Please note there is a change of PE day for all chidren in Bluebell, Buttercup and Daffodil Classes**
PE will be on Tuedsay next week instead of Monday
Change of Forest School Day for BUTTERCUP CLASS ONLY! Their session will be on Monday afternoon NOT Tuesday. Apologies for the change. This is due to learning sessions happening in school that cannot be changed.
Bluebell Class can come into school on Tuesday in their Forest School clothing and if it is comfortable can remain in it for their PE session.
Homework
The Year 2 children have their spellings in their bags and all of the children have a new Animpahonics book.
Year 1 children can use the sheet sent home last week to practise for the Phonics Screening check. Please only complete a maximum of half a sheet each week.
Maths: Year 1 - CGP books pages 26 and 27 (Adding)
Year 2 - CGP books pages 14 and 15 (Partitioning)

Happy Friday Everybody!
The children have been busy writing persuasive letters this week to the family who disturbed Bear from the book 'We're going on a Bear Hunt'. We have discovered that your childrn can be very persuasive!
World Book day was a great success. The children looked fabulous in their costmes adnd we had a lovely time reading with children from other year groups.
Next Thursday it is Science Day in school. You do not have to do anything for this. In school we will be comepleting lots of different Science based activities and investigations. It is set to be a very fun day!
