Dear All
Well, here we are again! As a staff we are all extremely disappointed that we are unable to open for the Spring Term as normal. However, we are committed in supporting you in all your home learning efforts.
First of all, we hope you are all ok. If you need anything at anytime please do not hesitate to contact us via our email:
The 2 main websites we will be using for home learning will be Oak Academy for English and White Rose for Maths. For the week beginning Monday 4th January, please use the links below. Please note for the Maths link it will give you 5 videos - this is for the week, not the day so explore 1 daily - be careful it will auto-play the next video!

Use this video to keep your child confident with their phonics skills. This sequence will review the alternate spelling patterns for the same sound e.g. rain and play.

At the end of the video it talks about worksheets. These can be accessed here:

You can print them off but it just as fine to complete them verbally or just writing the answers down on paper.
Phonics
If you feel your child would benefit from regular phonics work, use the video link below.

Project Learning
This lesson can be undertaken by both Year 1 & Year 2. It is based around learning about the continents of the world.

Don't forget to use the Big Cat ebook library to read a little everyday - it is so important!
Use your maths homework book to review the concepts we have covered so far. Practise the same sort of thing with different numbers. As normal, you can do an extra page each week - we will direct you which page to do on Friday's blog.
Wishing you all well - stay happy and keep safe:)
