The best part of the day was our guided story tour of the Castle where we looked at the well and learnt about daily life at the castle.
We then learnt about how castles were attacked and defended and even went up onto the roof!
We also had lots of time to look around the museum and take part in different activities that had been out out just for us.
All the children behaved beautifully and were a credit to the school. It was lovely to see all we had learnt in class come to life in a real 1000 year old castle!
